YuanGan at Indo Water Expo Jakarta 2026: drinking-water sensing deepens Southeast Asia water scenarios
O texto completo do artigo está disponível em inglês por enquanto.
From August 11 to 13, Indo Water Expo & Forum 2026 — a landmark event for the Southeast Asian water industry — was held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo). As one of Indonesia’s longest-running and largest professional water-treatment exhibitions, this year’s show drew more than 620 exhibitors from over 30 countries and more than 16,000 professional visitors, covering municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, smart water, and water-quality monitoring across the full industry chain.
Chongqing YuanGan Technology Co., Ltd. made a major appearance at booth B3 125 with its “drinking-water multi-parameter sensors + IoT cloud platform + scenario-based monitoring solutions,” systematically presenting China’s capabilities in online drinking-water quality monitoring to the Southeast Asian market — a solid step in the company’s technology go-global strategy in the ASEAN core region.
Booth spotlight: B3 125 draws crowds — Chinese smart manufacturing wins fans in Southeast Asia
On the first day of the show, booth B3 125 quickly became one of the focal points on the floor. Municipal water utilities, EPCs, and channel partners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and beyond stopped by in succession to discuss drinking-water safety monitoring challenges with the YuanGan team.

Products on display included low-range laser turbidity sensors, digital residual chlorine / chlorine dioxide sensors, multi-parameter online water-quality analyzers, drinking-water safety IoT equipment, and the cloud platform. With core strengths such as reagent-free / low-reagent design, ultra-low power consumption, resilience to high temperature and humidity, and remote O&M via the cloud, the lineup precisely addresses tropical climate and decentralized supply scenarios in Southeast Asia — and won strong recognition from Indonesian water professionals.

On site, YuanGan reached preliminary cooperation intent with a major Indonesian water-service provider on urban secondary water supply, network-end monitoring, and rural drinking-water safety. The company also aligned 2026–2027 channel distribution and technical-support frameworks with experienced agents in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Technology core: R&D DNA for a measure–transmit–manage closed loop
Founded in 2018, YuanGan is a science and technology innovator with equity participation from the Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology, long focused on online drinking-water quality monitoring.
- Founded: 2018
- Enterprise credentials: High-tech enterprise
- Equity partner: Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology
- Patents: 41+
Building on the doctoral / master’s / senior-engineer team of the Academy’s Information & Automation Research Center, YuanGan has advanced water-quality sensing technology since 2011; undertaken more than 10 national and local major science and technology projects; won the Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Second Prize; received the Excellent Product Award from the China Instrument and Control Society; passed ISO9001 / ISO14001 certification; and been recognized as a Chongqing high-tech enterprise, specialized and sophisticated (专精特新) enterprise, and tech-based SME.
Facing real challenges in Southeast Asia — high heat and humidity, aging networks, dispersed secondary-supply facilities, and unstable power at rural water stations — YuanGan has built a full closed loop of “precise front-end sensing + reliable edge transmission + intelligent cloud early warning”:
- Measure: low-turbidity detection limit down to 0.015 NTU; long-life residual chlorine / chlorine dioxide electrodes; highly integrated multi-parameter pH / conductivity / DO packages
- Transmit: 4G / NB-IoT wireless uplink, with data synchronized to both health-supervision and water-utility platforms
- Manage: automatic sample retention on exceedance, smart calibration reminders, and closed-loop O&M work orders — aligned with clean-water program requirements

Scenario deployment: from Chongqing experience to Jakarta practice
At the show, the YuanGan team highlighted benchmark applications validated at scale in China, offering replicable models for Southeast Asian customers:
- Urban water treatment plants: low-range turbidity meters paired with residual chlorine analyzers — key metrics comparable to imported equipment, supporting end-to-end control of plant effluent quality
- Secondary water-supply pump rooms: wall-mounted multi-parameter monitors that address residual chlorine decay at tank ends and protect the “last mile” of drinking water
- Rural drinking-water projects: solar-powered low-consumption units for island and off-grid stations, extending monitoring coverage
- Pools and campus direct-drinking water: integrated ozone / residual chlorine / pH monitoring, seamlessly connected to smart facility inspection systems

YuanGan has set up an overseas pre-sales response interface in Jakarta, using a “Chongqing R&D + local partner service” model to provide English technical materials, basic Indonesian UI options, on-site installation training, and a green channel for electrode repair — a key trust signal for project buyers choosing YuanGan over pure trading suppliers.
Go-global message: let YuanGan standards protect every drop
Indonesia is among the first core pillars of YuanGan’s global footprint. The company’s international business lead said at booth B3 125:
YuanGan’s overseas expansion is never “sell and walk away.” Anchored in drinking-water sensing technology, we will engage deeply in the digitalization of urban and rural water supply in Indonesia and ASEAN. Over the next three years, we look forward to working with more provincial utilities and local engineering firms so that Chinese-developed low-range turbidity meters and digital residual chlorine electrodes become trusted “China standards” for online drinking-water monitoring in Southeast Asia.

Thank you to Indo Water 2026 for the international stage, and to everyone who visited YuanGan at B3 125 in Jakarta.
Next stop: we look forward to continuing the story of Chinese smart manufacturing protecting drinking-water safety — in a water-utility plant room somewhere across Southeast Asia.
